Does it really matter? Isn't the whole point of SMUG to shine a mirror on the ridiculousness of one calling oneself and expert? Where is the line between over-the-top self puffery and true reality. The simple truth is that so-called Social Media is a tactic that can be leveraged by business. BUT at it's core, Social Media is about connection. Not necessarily person-to-person connection because that only happens, well, in person, but maintaining and nurturing connection in an over-worked, self-made-chaotic world. Just my thoughts. I'm a SMUG fan, too.
